What can we find on the
bside of our memories?

Memory Landscapes arises from the curiosity to see how our memory works. At the time my favorite technique was Polaroids, I was obsessed with their physicality and imperfection. I started to study them as objects and to dismember them. I needed to know what they hid, I needed to understand the chemicals and their layers.

The result is these almost abstract paintings that are reminiscent of Gerard Richter's paintings. They explore this non-memory. Looking for the answer of what we can find on the b side of our memories and going deep into the unconscious mind.
